EV Charging Use Is Surging—But New Chargers Can’t Keep Up
ChargePoint reports that charging sessions rose 34 percent in 2025, while new charger installations increased by 16 percent. The company also identifies 30 percent utilization as a critical threshold for workplace charging and says broader vehicle-to-grid adoption will require more AC bidirectional vehicles and industry standardization.
